IreneB releases “Don’t Come Back”, third single from her latest album, Welcome Back

The Spanish singer and her producer, Frankie Biggz, take us back to the end of the 80s with a new jack swing, homage to its creator, producer Teddy Riley.

Barcelona, Spain. After being out of the limelight for some months, IreneB has chosen “Don’t Come Back”, an up-tempo song, as third single for her latest record, Welcome Back. “After our listening party last year we realized that this song was the listener’s favourite one out of the album, “Don’t Come Back” has also been the most played one on streaming services like Spotify”.

For this ocassion, IreneB has recruited her favourite team: Grammy award record producer Frankie Biggz and songwriter Amy Longtin (who also wrote her predecessor single, “Oh Baby”, as well as most of the songs from her first and second album). In this song it’s in evidence the team’s love for this genre that greatly impacted most of the 90’s decade and shaped songs by Bobby Brown, Guy, TLC or R. Kelly.

Therefore, it’s a fun single, accompanied by a simple yet effective video, that seems to turn back the hands of time to transport us to the golden era of R&B by recreating the looks and make up from back then: loud coloured clothing, big chunky jewellery and gradient lips.

IreneB admits: “This will probably be the last single off this album, since I’m getting ready for a new project and I would like to go back to touring, with a smaller band, so we can get more gigs in this time of crisis”.

“Don’t Come Back” will be available on September 17th in all the digital outlets, including iTunes, Amazon and other streaming services.
